ABOUT PROVERA

WHAT IS PROVERA?

  • Provera keeps progesterone in high levels, stopping pregnancy and delaying one’s period willfully.
  • Provera usually starts working within 2-3 days.
  • Comes as a 10mg tablet and sometimes as a 150mg in 1mL injection (DEPO-PROVERA) used for a different purpose – birth control.
  • Provera is primarily used for other conditions such as treatment of various reproductive diseases – menopausal symptoms, endometriosis, no periods and even some cancers.
